In the winter of 2016, our founding pastor, Dr. Doug Cushing, was part of a delegation send by the Presbyterian Church USA to visit with our Presbyterian partners in Baghdad, Iraq. While there, Doug learned about the challenges and triumphs our Presbyterian sisters and brothers face each day. Doug was honored to lead two workshops for the church leaders and, more importantly, to learn about ministry from the Iraqi pastors.

We continue to pray for ways to strengthen our partnership with the Church in Iraq and we give thanks for their faithful witness in a country torn apart by terrorism and sectarian strife.
